JUMPING and SKIPPING SKILLS​

For PE time during your specialist day this week I would like you to spend some time working on skipping and jumping skills. If you don’t have a skipping rope at home, see if you can find something similar that would work instead! If you are struggling to find something to skip with, see how many of the activities you can do pretending to use one!
I have put a video up on your website in the PE section with some ways you can practise your jumping and skipping skills at home. These are just some ideas to help you practise, get creative and try to think of other ways you could work on these skills at home!
*Skipping Challenge* Play your favourite song at home, try and skip to the beat of the song for as long as you can.
There is also the weekly reflection sheet for you to spend some time judging how active and healthy you have been over the past 7 days! For anyone who still has some extra energy to burn, here is a link to do some basic yoga skills!
